Sadie has went to VBS with Alli all week while Laney had her tournament. She got to spend the night with Alli and Emry one night this week and had so much fun! Tonight, Alli came home with us after VBS. It has been non stop giggling, playing and being silly, since! Love these sweeties!

Go-Go Girls
So proud of Laney Beth! She signed up for softball this year and I must say- she's a natural. She gained a lot of confidence though out the season and she just made me smile, every time, she would go on the field or hit a ball! Her team, the Go-Go Girls, came in 2nd place in their year end tournament!! Way to go girls!!
A friend of ours, whose daughter is on Laney's team, taught Cade how to spit sunflower seeds during the tournament! He was SO proud and enjoyed every second of it! The next night, he had to buy sunflower seeds from the story and needed a bag for "Ms Wobby," too! So sweet! Thank you, Ms Robby, for playing with my sweet boy!

I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world.
I love living in Northwest Arkansas. I think it's a really great place to raise a family! Every year Wal-Mart holds a big shareholders meeting here. These meetings bring lots of people from all over the world and also, BIG time celebrities. For example, Hugh Jackman was at one of our favorite places to eat a few days ago! What?? I missed it! Boo! Tom Cruise was also out enjoying the town of Bentonville (which is a few towns over).. It's crazy here during this time of year! Anyways, they always have neat things for kids to enjoy at the different Wal-Marts in the area.
Yesterday, they had a big set-up for Barbie! SO fun! The girls got to dress up for the fashion runway show, build Lego dream houses, design and make their own Barbie dresses and get their face painted! It was Barbie heaven! They had music from the different Barbie movies, blaring. Of course, we knew them all and sang along! Cade had fun too but I say they should've had a little set-up for Ken! We had a blast!

Boy, OH, Boy.
I love my son dearly. He's definitely a sweet welcome to the drama that comes with having two girls. That being said, I'm not quite sure that I will make it to Cade's teenage years. The boy wears me out!
Exhibit A:
Exhibit A:
He is ALWAYS climbing on something, jumping off something or sitting on something. He literally makes my heart skip a beat. And he's loud. He is usually yelling, singing, roaring or making zooming noises. Have I mentioned that he's loud? Love him.
Exhibit B:
Let me set the scene for you. I was lazily watching a movie on my bed, Friday afternoon {don't judge-it's summertime}. The kids were downstairs playing and I heard them get a little loud. I just assumed that it was the normal arguing and fighting that normally goes on. Then I hear it. Screams. Horrifying screams for help. The 10 seconds that it took for me to run from my bed to the playroom downstairs, literally felt like an hour. Sooo many thoughts racing through my head- Cade got outside and got hit by a car. He fell off the counters and hit his head. He hung himself somehow {because he's a boy and likes to tie things up}.
Finally, I saw him. He had blood all over his face and the girls were still screaming. I yelled for Laney to call Daddy and in the meantime, Sadie gasps out that Cade put a wheel from his airplane up his nose. I look up his nose and sure enough I see a very small part of a green wheel. I send Sadie upstairs to get the tweezers and start plugging one side of Cade's nose and tell him to blow. Sadie makes it back down and I can finally see enough of the wheel to grab it. WHEW!
My heart beat was crazy and pumping hard for a long time. I honestly thought that I was gonna pass out! After it was all over, poor Laney grabbed her legs and said, "Momma, my legs are shaking so bad right now. That scared me so bad." Bless her heart.
Exhibit C:
I found this shoe string tied to his bedroom door..
Cade wears me out. But at the end of the day, I am thankful. Thankful for my loud, heart stopping, sweet, funny boy.

Summer nights
Daddy had to work today because he took off on Thursday to take care of me, after a little procedure that I had done. It was NO fun without him being home and I know that he missed us while he was gone to work, too.
After he got home, we ate dinner and took Popsicles to play at the playground. It was almost dark but we still had fun.
If you look closely, on the left, you will see a little rabbit. They were trying to sneak up on it!
